The City of Long Beach municipal elections will take place on April 12, 2016. We are voting in new:
Let your city council member know that you want change at the Long Beach Animal Care Services (ACS). ACS has euthanized more than 5,000 animals since Mayor Garcia was elected in 2014. If we don't take positive, proactive steps to change, more animals will die at the Long Beach shelter.

Let your city council member know that you want change at the Long Beach Animal Care Services (ACS). ACS has euthanized more than 5,000 animals since Mayor Garcia was elected in 2014. If we don't take positive, proactive steps to change, more animals will die at the Long Beach shelter.
Tell City Council: Please mandate that ACS implement the lifesaving programs of the No Kill Equation.

Call and write, respectfully explaining to him or her why you would like to see ACS implement the No Kill Equation: comprehensive adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter, foster programs, a neonatal kitten program, progressive pet redemption programs, and more. 5. Explain that Austin, Texas and cities all over the country are doing it, and Long Beach can do it, too!
